Sudden sound increases in Phonak Hearing Aid

I have my second brand new Phonak aids, and they do the same thing. The volume goes up for a minute or so, and then comes back down. It's just inherent with this brand. One way around it is to download the MyPhonak app. Choose a different program besides the automatic, which is what they come with.

Hello @wayne52 and others , I am. only 8 days itto wearing Phonak Audeo150-R aids! I do hope I can deal with the glitches , shall we say, of the App. I asked google which hearing aid companion App is the most reliable and one choice was Starkey. I am so depressed to find other posts on line that say MyPhoak is the "the worst " !! @tonyinmi You've already worn two brands of hearing aids ? over what time period may I ask ?? I do hope I can also get used to the discomfort of wearing Behind the Ear aids with glasses !!! I'm going to the see the optometrist for new thinner frames !! All told this is turning out to be expensive !! Gotta run - thanks for listening !!

@wayne52 I'm assuming that "automatic" means that the hearing aid will automatically adjust due to the environment. I never liked that feature since the aid may not always get it right.
