Sending prayers! I had my first transplant in 1998. Luckily for us my wife was my match. Things went very smooth for both of us. Her kidney lasted 20 years before becoming infected. It was a Godsend for me.
I am now on my second transplant after 3 years of dialysis. I recall the day a doctor told me I'd never get another kidney due to age and other factors. Turns out 1 was number one on the list for my blood type! So far things are going ok. I've since been diagnosed with cancer so I guess it's back to the next fight.
I hope everything goes smoothly for you and your husband!! I'll be praying for you.
Glenn

Oh my goodness Glenn. What an incredible blessing you had to have your wife’s kidney. Both of you are true warriors and I wish you all the best with this other issue you are facing now. I’m hoping and praying my husband gets approved for one. Thank you for your prayers.
