My understanding is that patches and pellets release hormones directly into the blood stream thereby bypassing the liver making them a safer delivery system.

I also read that the patch or basically topical where safer didn't have to go though you liver..yes there a risk but much lower the the pill form.. and everything in life has a risk.. the medication from big pharmaceutical companies have a risk too..and blood clots was one of them.. and their drugs to to help rebuild bone has the risk of causing fractures? That's messed up and very flawed.. so I'll take the risk of bio identical her patch.. estrogen my body should recognize this? We can try our best and God will do the rest..
