I had robotic mitral valve repair surgery in 2011 at KU Medical center in Kansas I went in on a Friday was home 3 days later working in my garden . Noe October 9 2025 I am going in at 70 years old for open heart mitral valve replacement surgery at the same hospital . Same surgeon and yes dental antibiotics if needed . To be honest it Scares the hell out of me this time

I hope it went well for you and you are back on your feet. If you haven't, but have the opportunity, I would highly recommend getting into a cardiac rehab program.
