We had to sell our home after living there for 15 years when I was forced to retire and go on SSDI. I'm still very angry about this, and always will be, even though it's been 10 years now. Whatever chance we had of having an average retirement is dead and gone, we'll never own a home again, and we're screwed financially because of what I let happen to me. It's no wonder that I'm clinically depressed and taking 2 meds for it, along with a half dozen other drugs.
