Good morning,
I think I'm heading in that direction. Could you tell me how your surgery went, and most importantly, how are you today! 🙏♥️
Sincerely,
Theresa

Well the surgery wasn't so bad but the recovery was very difficult. The surgeon did robotic surgery with the Davinci Robot at the hospital so I did not have a large incision and he was able to connect it back together so I do not have an ostomy bag. He stapled it together with stainless steel staples. I had everything that he told me I would have such as blood in my stool and bladder, nausea, diarrhea, not wanting to eat but having to make myself eat and I had all of them.
It took 8 weeks to recover. Of course my age did not help me because I was 82. I still have irritable bowel syndrome and still have to take Metamucil in order to stay regular. He also told me that I could still have the big D but not as often as I had been.
