I have had Fibro for 25 years in California, U.S. I am taking 1 mg. at night only. It does make you very drowsy, but that's why I only take it at bedtime. You might try 1/2 instead of .25. I have for nothing for the day to day pain that lets me feel have normal and/or able to function. My doctor has allow me to have a limited amount of hydrocodone per month to use when I want to 'have fun, enjoy my grandchildren, a day out or a day I just can't tolerate the pain". It was hard to get him to do that, but I was pretty persistent. I take half of the dose and it lasts me about 6 hours. I am extremely disciplined about taking it. They run a drug test on me once a year to make. sure I'm not. taking anything else. I know in some states, you cannot get it at all . They would rather you be on CBD, but REALLY? It is quite expensive and wanted nothing to do with it. I was in a study at Stanford about 20 years ago for a med called Naltrexone. It worked the opposite for me, but there are some taking it (so I've heard).. Hang in there, gentle hugs!

I totally agree. I DO believe here (at least) on the West Coast) they would rather you self medicate with cannabis. I've tried CBD with a small combination of THC. It helped with pain and anxiety, but I am not willing to loose my Dr. faith in giving me other drugs when she sees drug test results. So I now rub a very expensive CBD cream on my feet, knees and back. It helps.
