Anyone on Medicare been prescribed Zepbound for sleep apnea?

Hi! Did you have to go through a difficult prior authorization process with your plan? If you don't mind sharing what plart D plan do you have? I have Wellcare and it specifically says Not Covered in the formulary. I am just trying to figure out if it will be a huge battle or even worth it to try.

I also have Wellcare and they denied it several times but I had my endocrinologist as well as my GP send in narratives and I also had a back up with my pulmonary doctor who did the sleep apnea test but it turned out I didn't need him to send in a narrative. Just be persistent and hopefully they will relent.

I have AARP and they will not cover it either. I have to fill out a form to appeal.

I have VT blue advantage. Coverage of Zepbound for sleep apnea just started this year. The drs office called and provided results of my sleep test and info on my weight. It was pleasantly simple. Best of luck. I feel that this is making a huge difference in my health.
