How long were you on Orgovyx, Xtandi, Talzenna? Fatigue unbearable

How long do you normally stay on these three(orgovyx, xtandi, talzenna). I've been on a couple of months and my fatigue is almost unbearable. Anyone have this experience?

I had the most awesome wings yesterday. Sweet and lip smacking hot pepper spice. I think it helped, my attitude anyway. I'm usually careful about what I eat but every now and then I go for it. I don't drink, don't drug, no longer sexual, BMI 22, zone 2-4 aerobic exercise for 75 minutes 2-4 of times a week and live on the edge by eating my favorite foods a few times a year regardless of how healthy or unhealthy they are. We only live once to my knowledge.

Doctor: “Avoid this list of foods they can cause cancer”

Patient: “Thanks, good to know, I already have cancer so I can eat whatever the f**k I want” 😂

Doctor: “Bahahahahahahahahahahahah”!!

I started on Xtandi feb 24.
My PSA was 0 (zero) as of August 2024 and my xtandi was reduced to 40mg a day.
Still fatigued, brain fog and issues with short term memory . But small potatoes considering the alternative...
Aug 1, 2025 I'm replacing Xtandi with something called NUBEQA which is supposed to act like Xtandi but cut the immense fatigue in half.
My issue with Xtandi really has been an inability to focus but I'm learning to expect less of myself. Somethings that used to take an hour now seems to take 6 hours.... and that is my new norm.
I'm stage 4 Gleason score 9

Nubeqa does not pass the blood brain barrier so it doesn’t cause the brain fog like Xtandi.

I would imagine you are on an ADT drug. A common problem with ADT drugs, over time, is they cause brain fog. Are you on Lupron, Eligard or Orgovyx or something like that?

"Once is enough the way things have become on this planet."

The world was much worse in my grandparents' time (two world wars and hundreds of millions of deaths), and in my parents' (imminent threat of nuclear annihilation, which was avoided by a hair's breadth several times). Even when I was born in the mid-1960s Canada, it was still legal to ban people from golf courses, housing developments, concerts, etc because of their race; two men could go to jail for having consensual sex but a husband couldn't be jailed for sexually assaulting his spouse; our government was still abducting Indigenous children and abusing and torturing them in residential schools; and on and on.

So while I'm not thrilled with the turn some recent political events have taken, I'm still grateful to be alive and smile at the world every morning when I wake up.

Your not old enough yet to be fed up. You missed the Cuban crisis in 1962, you missed going to Vietnam and catching agent Orange like I did. Consider yourself lucky you missed out on wars that serve no purpose. Your right. Enjoy each day. My friends call it SSDD. Of course their my age arena. 70s.

People normally have a problem with weight gain when they first start ADT. I did not, and have been eight years on it. I keep my weight exactly the same with a pound or two..

I weigh myself every day and eat based on what I weigh. I’ve set a weight I want to keep and that’s what I based how much I eat on.

What do you eat is very important. I used to love having Italian salami sandwiches, except those are really bad for prostate cancer as are all deli meats and red meat. You can have it once a month, but having it regularly is not a good idea. Getting on something like the Mediterranean diet, I eat chicken and fish and it occasionally red meat, but not very often.

If you go on the web to YouTube, look up PCRI and any of the diet recommendation videos they have as well as exercise videos that’s another thing. You really need to be in touch with. Taking ADT causes your stomach muscles to weaken and give you a belly. You also find it very hard to get off the floor if you don’t exercise regularly.

I looked the wave devices. They have different ones. Which one do you have?
