Rare serious side effect of Eliquis: Muscle weakness

I am having muscle weakness where my legs will give out at the muscles above and below the knees. I can’t stand in one spot for a long time.
I do not have walking endurance.

I did not consider the Eliquis is causing this.

I am trying to get a referral to sports Medicine Internist who specializes in muscles.

Within 1 day of starting Eliquis I went into Afib for the first time in a year. Then the fatigue, major gas and digestive problems and dementia like feelings and some scary thoughts. After 2 weeks I stopped taking it while arguing with the cardiologist who kept saying it was all in my head. Most issues went away within a week except for the massive gas bubble that continued to trigger Afib.
Still
Working on that without any real doctors help but it’s getting better. Eliquis is good for most people, but when it’s bad it’s BAD.
