How long were you on Orgovyx, Xtandi, Talzenna? Fatigue unbearable

How long do you normally stay on these three(orgovyx, xtandi, talzenna). I've been on a couple of months and my fatigue is almost unbearable. Anyone have this experience?

Once you've already been diagnosed with prostate cancer, there's no strong, widely-accepted evidence yet that *any* specific diet can affect its progression (for good or bad) . But prostate-cancer treatment elevates your risk of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and bone- and muscle-density loss, so it's still wise to eat a healthy, balanced diet, lower in processed sugar and saturated fat. You can find suggestions on various heart-health and diabetes websites.

Like @jeffmarc wrote, it doesn't mean you can never order a hot dog and fries with a milkshake again; just make them a sometimes treat instead of an every-day staple. 🙂

What about desserts?

All right, this may be contrary to what some people say.

My wife loves to bake. She makes cookies and cakes, and we have a freezer full. I get one small piece of cake every night along with some strawberries or 2 cookies or a brownie. Really the only sweets I eat. It’s not that you can’t do it. It’s that you can’t do too much of it.

My A1c is dead in the middle of normal.

Well my wife loves junk food; which includes a variety of things so I totally understand.
So I try to balance everything with moderation although I fail sometimes. (most of the time;haha) Do you have mestatic prostrate cancer? That's what I have so it's been a learning experience to say the least. I hope you have a good day. Thanks again for your reply.

The best thing you can do for yourself with metastatic prostate cancer is taking your meds. The second-best thing you can do is living a healthy lifestyle to mitigate the side-effects so that you can keep taking your meds. 🙂

Beyond that, it's mostly magical thinking, unfortunately. You can't stop or control the cancer with exercise or faddish restriction diets (like cutting out all meat or sugar or eggs or dairy or what-have-you) — at least, there's no compelling proof yet — but you *can* set yourself up for success by taking generally-good care of your body.

Best of luck!

My wife hates junk food, But she doesn’t consider baked sweets junk.

Every day for dinner, I have a vegetable a starch and either fish or chicken (or eggplant). My wife’s great at making all different types of sauces.

I had a hamburger at McDonald’s about 50 years ago, That was the first and last time I went into that business. Gag! Same with Taco Bell, I couldn’t believe how bad, what they call meat, tastes. Doggy diner had much better food choices than either business. Boy have things gone downhill in the junk food industry.

I had the most awesome wings yesterday. Sweet and lip smacking hot pepper spice. I think it helped, my attitude anyway. I'm usually careful about what I eat but every now and then I go for it. I don't drink, don't drug, no longer sexual, BMI 22, zone 2-4 aerobic exercise for 75 minutes 2-4 of times a week and live on the edge by eating my favorite foods a few times a year regardless of how healthy or unhealthy they are. We only live once to my knowledge.

I’m on Orgovyx and had radiation a few months ago. Regarding fatigue, my only recommendation is to exercise your butt off. Weight lifting is recommended, but I’m limited due to shoulder injuries, so I focus on lower body stretching and aerobics.
