Blue Light is for skin cancer and is unbelievably and outrageously unpleasant. I will not do it again. It’s over rated and fills the pockets of dermatologists; they get a generous kickback but the procedure has limited success. I’ve opted to just go to the Dermatologist every 4 months, and stay on top of my skin. Scrape questionable areas followed by cream.

Actually, blue light treatment is not for skin cancer. It’s primarily for actinic (sun) damage to hopefully prevent skin cancer from developing. A severe “redness reaction” is what is expected meaning the blue light was effective. No treatment is 100% so periodic blue lights may be recommended by your dermatologist.
