How long were you on Orgovyx, Xtandi, Talzenna? Fatigue unbearable
How long do you normally stay on these three(orgovyx, xtandi, talzenna). I've been on a couple of months and my fatigue is almost unbearable. Anyone have this experience?

I'm taking Nubeqa. What IS ADT.
ADT it’s one of the drugs that drops your testosterone down Close to zero.
I am also on the Nubeqa, but it doesn’t cause hot flashes, Isn’t there another drug you’re taking? I am also taking Orgovyx And it causes hot flashes.
Are you getting it with an injection maybe? Orgovyx, Firmagon, Lupron and Eligard are the most used ADT drugs
Thank you so much
Yes I take an injection every 3 months. I just get hot easy have to turn ac way down. Seems like it cones and goes.
Just a quick correction: Xtandi is Enzalutamide (easy slip).
Thanks for the correction. I knew that, and I put the correct information in many other messages I’ve written.
That’s how the hot flashes work. They come and go, and when they come, they can cause the sweat to drip down over your eyes And get your chest, all wet. They are not always that intense, but many of them are during the day.
I usually get about eight a day. I have had as many as 25. I’m able to count them because I wear that Wave 2 device I mentioned Earlier in this thread. It also stops the sweat at night.
If you decide to get one of these, post a message in here about that and I will post instructions for how to make it work the best. I’ve been working with the devices for three years and beta tested them before this model even came out.
One year after starting ADT the hot flashes were driving me nuts. My oncologist said I could try getting a depo-provera shot, It might help. It took my hot flashes down to almost nothing.
The hot flashes really started hitting me about two months ago. 10 days ago I got a depo-provera Shot to control the hot flashes. I know it takes two weeks to really become effective, but after 10 days, I’m getting half as many hot flashes and they are much milder. One advantage of the Depo-Provera shot over adding a little estrogen is that estrogen causes breast growth and tenderness while the Depo-Provera shot doesn’t cause any problems like that.
I know one person that says eating tofu every day really controlled his hot flashes (this is because one of the ingredients of tofu is a hormone), another person in this forum said the same thing. Can’t hurt to try it. Black Cohash is also said to help. Acupuncture works for some people. No
Thanks so much. I do appreciate your reply. I'm gonna try and get one. Do you have a problem with weight loss? Are you on any special diet? I've been eating what I used to eat
Thanks again
People normally have a problem with weight gain when they first start ADT. I did not, and have been eight years on it. I keep my weight exactly the same with a pound or two..
I weigh myself every day and eat based on what I weigh. I’ve set a weight I want to keep and that’s what I based how much I eat on.
What do you eat is very important. I used to love having Italian salami sandwiches, except those are really bad for prostate cancer as are all deli meats and red meat. You can have it once a month, but having it regularly is not a good idea. Getting on something like the Mediterranean diet, I eat chicken and fish and it occasionally red meat, but not very often.
If you go on the web to YouTube, look up PCRI and any of the diet recommendation videos they have as well as exercise videos that’s another thing. You really need to be in touch with. Taking ADT causes your stomach muscles to weaken and give you a belly. You also find it very hard to get off the floor if you don’t exercise regularly.
Goodness I been eating what I want. How does it affect your chance? Wow I need to change my diet
