No, it's heating pad with vibrating buttons inside and velcro straps to hold it where you want it to stay. It has a small control with finger touch panel. It's a little noisy with the vibrators buzzing and it can be turned on or off independently of the heat. Pretty good price at around $30. I think I'll buy another when it's on sale.
