Need guidance. My wife had 1 covid vaccine 2.5 years ago. 6 months later she had stroke like symptoms but no stroke. Her symptoms are light headed, brain fog, tumors, left side body tingling, extreme tiredness, head pressure and racing heart. We have seen many doctors including neurologist with no diagnosis or treatment. They say it’s made up but they have witnessed the tumors. We believe this could be long COVID or vaccine related. We are looking for a doctor who isn’t afraid to diagnose that if that is it and treat if possible. We live in southern IN but will travel if need. Any advice?

jsnfltn, I agree that it's Long COVID or vaccine related. Is there a Covid Recovery Clinic near your are an
Integrative Medicine doctor close by that treats Long COVID symptoms?

Praying for her and you. Blessings & Prayers....

@jsnfltn My short story, figuratively through every Doctor in the 2 medical organizations in Charleston, SC and to Mayo Clinic Rochester. All tests showed normal (and of course I knew better with PEM, Exercise Intolerance, Rocking, Brain Fog) and my symptoms began within 2 weeks of my first and last Moderna booster. I never gave up and turned to Doctors YouTube and Google happily discovering there are small groups of Doctors and Medical Journalists worldwide working to help people with LC. Good news is in my case all treatment is virtual working through my local GP. If you feel you've exhausted all local possibilities suggest you spend many hours on YouTube finding, listening, studying. Best wishes and don't ever give up.

Worth looking into.

I've gone through the same thing here in Iowa. This week I found ChatGPT. It is an app for Android or ioS, or you can just pull it up in your browser.

Ask it questions like you would ask a doctor. Add every single symptom and any lab results you have.

It will formulate information you can use in a format that will help your doctors take notice.

It is so frustrating that we get blown off. It's because doctors don't know what to do about it. It affects multiple body systems so that is why you have to go to all these different doctors and they don't talk to each other.

If you can swing it financially, you may get some help from a functional medicine practitioner. I am leery of them because they are mostly chiropractors, but you might have access in a larger city to an actual doctor who will attempt to treat your wife. They're usually not covered under insurance.

Help for these symptoms is usually found in multiple places. There's no set protocol that works for everyone.

Mine has been so bad for almost 3 years that finally some labs showed another condition unrelated to long COVID. You might try not mentioning long COVID as a lot of people don't believe it exists. Then just tell them your symptoms. Hopefully you will get a workup that will identify any areas that can be treated.

Sorry you guys are going through this. I've been in bed most of the time completely debilitated from it.

Thanks
Why it's so difficult for docs, simply say yes it could be covid we Don't have a cure YET but we are working on it.
It would be somewhat a relief just acknowledging it

I understand how you feel. As I’ve been to countless docs (even Mayo) and no one takes my LC issues seriously. I initially started with heart issues but 3.5 years later I am dealing with muscle wasting and atrophy, some twitching all over body. No one has answers for this. But I would still recommend Dr Jordan Vaughn in Alabama. He’s the only doc I can comfortably talk about vax injury and believed. He’s one of 3 or 4 doc that testifies to the gov hearings about impacts of vax injury and one of the only ones I’ve seen willing to prescribe what he can to try off label. He’s also ran lab panels that my general pcp won’t even help me with. It’s so frustrating out here.

My worst problem is having class friends and relatives claiming that there isn’t Long Covid and there are no weird symptoms.

If you want a doctor that can help you, google Dr Paul Anderson.Amazing man, excellent CLEAR info on what's possibly going on...highly Recommend.Been following his covid blogs now for around 3-4 years. There are so many options to get being well. He's amazing.Ever since I started following him,I've slowly gotten better...today I feel pretty darn stable and good. The symptoms have virtually ended...little brain fog at times, but getting WAY better.Pain?almost gone from stomach.Small amount pops up every once in a while, but it's manageable. It doesn't last but a little while.I would recommend him specifically. And it's FREE.I tell ya...he knows all about this long covid...and what can be done about it.Check him out.You won't be disappointed. He's amazing.Take care and God Bless you and yours.
