I have Idiopathic PN since 2007. Nothing helps. My new neurologist has suggested Metanx that is available as medication and supplement (?). Much appreciate your feedback.

I was given a prescription of MetanX by my podiatrist a couple of years ago. She said it had helped her father's neuropathy. The next time I saw my GP for a check up and had blood work done, they checked my vitamin levels and my Vitamin B6 was way high! Since I have read numerous things here on Mayo Connect about B6 making neuropathy worse, I quit taking the MetanX... and my B6 has returned to normal range. You may want to ask your neurologist's opinion on adding something with B6 in it?? Perhaps he/she will not know of a connection between B6 and neuropathy?? This was my experience. I wish you the best! Mike

Hi @antoniodoria ,

I took Mentanx until my B-vitamins all went sky high.
I do think it helped when I took it. Now, tensing. Cold laser. And Shockwave and diet.
