Hi there,
I recently started taking Hydoxy 500mg daily. My skin hasn't changed and I'm quite fair so I'd notice. I don't know what your platelets are, but because mine are very high, I now have Acquired Von Willebrand's. This is why I started on the chemo. You don't want to risk more roblems, so I'd urge you to chat with your consultant. Good luck

How are you doing with the vonWillebrand's? Feeling OK? Have you been on the chemo long enough to bring down the platelets? Good to learn more about this complication. Could you tell how the AVWB was diagnosed? Take care!
