Thank you so much Jennifer..
I had visited the moxillofacial surgeon, for the same issue.I can feel clicking sound in my jaw just near the hyoid bone. And my jaw tilts at left while opening the mouth. But for my surprise doctor rejected to even check what can be the issue ,saying its not related to jaw.He was of opinion that "until it pains near ear or on jaw itself its not related to jaw.Jaw problems dont create pain on neck area."
I came back hopeless from their. But ill find another doctor as you also feel the same issue that I feel.Thank you so much for your support..

@jyoti2511 My PT said something interesting regarding jaw and neck issues that kind of indicated that dentists don’t want to claim it. Your best bet may be finding a good physical therapist who is good with cervical issues. My PT also does myofascial release work to release the tight tissue. She can realign my neck, skull, and jaw that can get off. You can find an MFR provider on mfrtherapists.com and there are good articles about these issues on mskneurology.com. My issues are related to having thoracic outlet syndrome that caused neck spasms that are worse on one side causing some rotation in the cervical spine occasionally which does also tighten my jaw on that side.
