I've had this too! I don't remember if I took anything beforehand? I don't think so...Now I have gone the other way...no urges to go anymore. Don't understand what is going on in my body anymore, but am miserable living life around BMs.

You are not alone. I lost the urge to defecate three years ago and am totally dependent on laxatives. And trying to live a normal life where evry other day I need to be near a bathroom.
Maybe I will try the olive oil. Although without a gall bladder that might be asking for trouble.
