Entresto and Norvatis
I think those mentioning Medicare are talking about Medicare Part D (or the additional coverage you sign up for prescription coverage) as Medicare does not cover prescription without prescription plan.

Entresto is manufactured by Norvastis. Those who do not have insurance can contact Norvastis about programs to assist getting Entresto directly from Norvatis. When I was put on Entresto it was not covered by BCBS federal. Norvastis program covered it in full and mailed the prescription to me free.

They also work on high cost assistant programs. My heart failure doctor send medical letter to BCBS Federal stating Entresto was a heart failure medication not just a BP medication. BCBS approved his determination and BCBS started covering Entreston. So I went from paying 0$ to paying 125.00 every 3 months to get it from BCBS mail delivery.

Medicare pats A and B. A is hospitalizaion. B is medical. It is the other letters you have to pay more for to cover prescriptions. If you do not have prescription medicaton coverage or very littel coverage please call or go on line to Norvastic and look up assistance programs. I did and for years got Entresto free.
