@eaa2025 and most importantly, how is he feeling now? Do you feel like things are now going in a better direction?
I want to comfort you and let you know that my first and second year had some challenges (active CMV, BK virus, etc) but after that early time period of getting my immune suppression meds adjusted, I am incredibly grateful to be enjoying my trouble-free life with my new kidney. I am confident the same will be true for your husband. You sound like a wonderfully competent caregiver that is doing everything correctly!
