Because I was on Amiodarone for a while for VFIB episodes and hospitalized. It was the cardiologist in hospital who put me on it not my EP. I asked my EP to wean me off of it as I read so much information on toxicity of it. Ask your EP to go over the toxicity of the Amiodarone. I have read low doses don't have a much toxicity as a higher dose but have to add here that is not part of my expereience or knowledge I can pass on.

My PVCs are right where yours were. I count mine sometimes to see how I am doing. Asked your cardilogist or EP about taking magnesium. My EP at Mayo asked me to take it to see if helps with PVCs. Again my caveat that this was a comment to me and may not be in your best interest so check with your doctors before adding any supplements.

Has either your cardiologist or EP discussed an ICD or an ICD/pacemaker regarding VT?

I have not heard on MCC the ivabradine being mentioned nor heard about it from my cardiologist or EP. So really have no personal knowledge of it nor taking it. Regarding the amiodarone it is a very strong and powerful medicine that works. However it does have toxicity known issues but again I am not sure about low doses that you are on versus the high dose I was put on while in hospital and continued for a couple of months until my EP slowly weaned me off of it. Just as a footnote I did about a year ago have some episodes of VTAC and they put me on a new medicine that I take every 8 hours. It really worked and for me have not had a VTAC episode since been on it (knocking on wood as I type this).
