Osteoporosis and Forteo (teriparatide): What to hear experiences
Wanting to hear people’s experience with using Forteo generally , good and bad. Concerned about having to travel and keeping it at the 36-46F range. Also would like to hear from those that used it 15-20 years ago and if any medical issues have come about that are related to Forteo.

1 Reactionnwyatt, After the 24 months on Forteo, I took one shot of Prolia and then Raloxifene 60mg. I will complete the 18 months of Forteo and then go back on the Raloxifene I think. The recommendation was Evenity and then Prolia for life, but Evenity was not approved and I am still on the fence about Prolia.

please also read the next comment by oopsiedaisy - a better price on vendor's website.
Someone posted a comment recently that a $40 medicine cooler is available on amazon. It uses gel however it has an external digital temperature display as well - nice!
For travels that involve unpredictable accommodations or schedules, the product with the link above gives you more control imo.

I was wondering the same thing, I have been on forteo for a little over two years and was told I need to go on a follow up to keep the gains, but I really do not want to.
You have to follow up with something. You can't just go from Forteo to nothing.
I followed up Forteo with one shot of Prolia (had dental problems so did not continue with Prolia) Went on Evista (Raloxifene ) for the 7 years.
