Hormone Treatment Experience
Had my first visit today at MD Anderson Proton Center and the Dr ordered AlteraAI to see if Hormone Therapy would help
If so he is leaning to Hormone Therapy Light. Not sure what that means? Hormone Therapy does not look like fun!
Anyone have experience with ADT Light or just Hormone Md light? Are the side effects the same?
Thanks for any feedback

This is a lot of wasted money. I mentioned in another message that the maximum your body can take is 500 mg of calcium at a time. If you take more, it just gets disposed of in your body.
This bottle does not appear to be calcium citrate either.
I was getting calcium citrate from Walgreens, they gave you 50% off if you buy two bottles. Costco now carries it so I get it there cause it’s got magnesium as well.
Calcium citrate almost always comes in 250 mg pills and you have to take two at a time.
Better
I’m getting a bone scan next Saturday. I’ll let you know the results.
This is what my doctor ordered
I would be suspicious of that doctor, not knowing about the 500 mg capability of the body. Look it up you will find what I’m saying is accurate and your doctor is wrong
I had ADT treatment for 1 year with zero PSA and testosterone levels. The main side effects were fatigue and loss of sexual function. On a clinical level, I became anemic, with red blood cell counts falling below minimum. The treatment was paused after one year but neither my RBC nor testosterone ever recovered. After another year of waiting, we decided to try HRT . With the first injection both my RBC and testosterone levels recovered . Has anyone else experienced this and if so what did you do about it?
