I use the Convatec two peace appliance. To protect the stoma I put a thin layer of Eakin cohesive paste around the stoma. I use Esenta skin barrier adhesive wipes. I then apply a light dusting of Nystop powder brushing off excess powder or you can use the used adhesive to dab off the excess powder. I then apply the moldable skin barrier to fit my stoma. Snap on the bag and warm the skin barrier by warming a package of disposable wipes in the microwave for 15-20 seconds, then hold it on the appliance for about a minute this helps to adhere the wafer to your skin.
When I travel and don’t have access to a microwave I’d use a hair dryer. No leaks for me. You need prescription fo the Nystop
