Hi @dlc1953, I moved your discussion to the Parkinson's support group 🙂

I believe this may be the study you're referring to:
- Anti-Tetanus Vaccination Is Associated with Reduced Occurrence and Slower Progression of Parkinson's Disease-A Retrospective Study https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11726988/

The researchers concluded that there is promise and more study is required.
"Conclusions: These findings support the hypothesis that tetanus vaccination and/or C. tetani eradication may reduce PD occurrence and slow its progression, suggesting promising directions for future research in PD prevention and treatment."

You mention that you were looking for the side effects of the tetanus vaccine. See more from Mayo Clinic here: https://www.mayoclinic.org/drugs-supplements/tetanus-toxoid-intramuscular-route-injection-route/description/drg-20066243

How is your husband doing?

This makes me want to rush my hubby to the doctor for a tetanus vaccine. I haven't read the article yet - any downsides?
