I was on 20 mg Lipitor and could not raise up in bed without grabbing something to help me raise up. To try and drive was excruciating and impossible to turn my head. I felt like I had a crick in my neck. I have never hurt that bad. I was 70 at the time and decided that I would stop all medication one at a time until I found the culprit. I was the statin. within a week of stoppingit I was back to norma. My Dr. said lower the dose to 10 then 5 but the same horrible pain happened. I refuse to take any statin for the rest of my life. Im 75 now
