Hi .. since our last conversation I can say that I have now had Covid and also had my breast implants removed without any change to the salty taste problem (apart from it gradually worsening). Our journey continues .. hopefully somebody will learn something soon. Regards

I'm not sure if you read my comment about also having the same salty taste problem. It has been going on for several months and getting worse despite being on pilocarpine, which increases saliva, and using numerous over the counter oral rinses, etc. The only thing that helps mask the taste are gum and xylimelts. It sometimes alternates with a sour taste. The dentist said she's never heard of anyone with this problem but they think it could be from a dry mouth or dehydration but drinking more doesn't help at all. Anyway, you seem to be one of the few people that has the same problem. Have the doctors done any testing for Sjogren's?

@bel59 , sorry to hear you are not improving. I will cautiously report that my bitter taste is slightly less intense! I’m not sure if I’ve just grown accustomed to it or it really is less intense. I have renewed faith it may resolve though. I wish that for us all.
