Osteoporosis and Prunes
I just ran across an article (not a recognized medical magazine) that states the eating 5-6 prunes a day can reverse osteoporosis? Anyone know anything about the possible connection? or see anything to this effect in a reputable medical source? @gailfaith

My grandmother would stew them in a bit of water with sliced lemon. No added sugar. yummy
Here is a link from Margaret Martin at Melio Guide. I think the recommendation is 100 g of prunes per day or at least that is what was in one study

I try to eat prunes with some protein and fat, ex., nuts, or at the end of a meal. I usually just eat 2 or 3 at a time.
I found my reactions to carbs are not consistent and I am not really sure what the difference is... I am thinking of getting a continuous glucose monitor just to understand the differences.
I monitored my blood glucose for 2 weeks, wearing a Stelo which you can buy online without a prescription. I noticed that after a meal with good protein content, like 20-25 grams, I can have a small dessert and the blood glucose didn’t spike. Prunes don’t have a high glycemic index.
