@slac1976 Your physician needs to answer what your risks of blood clots would be with flying. I have heard that surgery may increase risks for blood clots for 6 months as I was told this after my own surgery. Other health conditions could certainly affect the risk of blood clots. When you are sedentary for long periods without walking around, that increases risks as well. One of my relatives did pass away suddenly within a day or 2 of flying home from a vacation. No one knows, but they suspected blood clots.
