My primary doctor who recommended Fosamax when I was diagnosed two years ago told me then that all meds were very similar and the difference being whether you take them orally or by injection and also how often. I had no idea how wrong she was until I had a terrible reaction to Fosamax and started doing (and continue to do) my research. Everyone is different and answers are not easy to come by.
