I can’t imagine how Evenity injections in the back of my thigh or in my abdomen would feel - yikes!
I had all 12/24 Evenity injections in my upper arms. There were months where one arm was ouchier than the other, and some months where one arm was red and swollen at the injection site for a few days; I liken the reaction to getting a flu shot. None of these issues lasted for more than a few days.
Ask your practitioner to take the meds out of the fridge about 20-30 minutes before your appointment; that may help. You could also try applying some ice to the sites.
Everyone is different, but Reclast has been smooth sailing for me since 2011.

Had my first injection almost 2 weeks ago in my upper arms. Left arm was sore for a few days and I had a bit of a headache but that was it. Hoping the rest are the same.

Evenity has been recommended by my Dr. I am very concerned about increases in blood pressure I have read about, so still deciding, but do you have a choice in where you receive the injection?
