Lymphovascular invasion is so confusing. My report only said present and nothing explaining how extensive. It's frustrating.

I asked the surgeon if it was "focal" or "extensive." Focal means close to the tumor site and is less concerning.

Hi, did your oncologist explain why chemo and radiation was not recommended? I had a 1.4cm removed, grade 3, 0 nodes, onco score 16 as well. My oncologist straight up said chemo is needed.

My tumor was also 1.4 cm when first detected. Oncotype score of 16, grade 2 and ER+/PR+/HER2 -.

Chemo was not recommended just lumpectomy with radiation or mastectomy.

Maybe he/she recommended because you had a grade 3 tumor, fast growing. ??? I know different doctors will have different opinions.
