Hi Janell, so I took your advice and contacted the Mayo Clinic. I was skeptical that I would be able to find the right person to talk to about my dilemma, but I did!!! I was told that even if my wife started her treatments before her appointments at the Mayo, that would not in any way affect the appointments scheduled and that they would just make their recommendations based on where she is, at the time.

We are currently waiting for my insurance to see if the approve or reject coverage.
