Welcome to Connect @adkmitch. CLL is one of the more treatable forms of leukemia so it’s earned the little quip from doctors that “it’s the best cancer to get”. Though it’s still startling to get the diagnosis.

It’s generally also very slow to progress and often there is a very long active surveillance period as your doctor checks blood work periodically for any changes.
It sounds like you’re at the early point in discovery. How frequently do you have follow-ups? Has there been a suggestions for treatment or just observation for now?

I was diagnosed 3 years ago. I see my doctor every 6 months. My issue is my immunoglobulin levels continue to be low. I was having infusions every 12 weeks for the past year, ut am now having them every 6 weeks through the end of this year to see if that helps.
