Thanks for sharing your experience. I also have stage 3 esphageal cancer. I just finished my 28 rounds of radiation, and 6 chemo two weeks ago Tuesday. I haven't been able to eat for over 4 months but was able to drink fluids. After my 26th radiation i have not been able to keep fluids down. I drink a little water and it comes right back up and i also feel like there is a lump way down in my throat. I scared because now I can't even drink. I do have a J tube though. Plus my oncologist told me I would be able to eat after treatment. Any thoughts. Thanks. Daren

Stage 3 esophageal diagnosis --my post-radiation fatigue was monumental--but eased significantly 1-2 wks after treatments ended. That lump is your tumor--mine will be surgically excised in a few days and while oral nutrition will be significantly altered for my remaining years, my life will go on. Best of luck wishes to you.
