Many of us have had this experience.
Here are a few reasons you may feel tired:
Your body is fighting a serious infection.
You have two or maybe 3 lung diseases which deprive your body of necessary oxygen, not only when you move around, but all the time.
You are hitting your already stressed body 3 times a week with powerful antibiotics.

Here are a few things you can try - intentional deep breathing when you are sitting to get more oxygen. Airway clearance to get the mucus out of your lungs (more room for air). If all else fails maybe ask for supplemental oxygen.
How long have you taken the antibiotics?

I've been on them for 2 or 3 weeks now.

Hi, I am new to this blog or section
I also am experiencing intermittent exhaustion.
I was diagnosed with Bronch about two months ago after a year and a half of almost chronic pneumonia
At first, at ucla recommended esophageal hernia surgery because they thought it might be causing pneumonia and then sinus surgery. Before, and during that time, my right upper lobe developed an abscess, necrosis and cavitation.
Initially,, I only had my right upper lobe affected but now it is right middle and lower, even after all the surgeries
My pneumonia never truly went away. It seems to wax and wane according to labs x-rays and CT scans.
I just started on Aerobica, Oscillating vest
Nebulizer and nasal lavage all twice a day along with exercise, which I’ve always done
Doing this twice a day is incredibly draining along with the fact that both of pneumonia and BE are probably contributing as well
It’s very scary because I now have progressed to having three lobes affected, and it is multifocal as well.
I still have semi me chronic pneumonia after all the surgeries which did not help at all
Will this ever get better? I am trying to be as normal as possible, and I do get some relief in between sessions of
Airway clearance in the morning and evening, but after a few hours, I am totally exhausted again
PS I was tried on a zillion. Antibiotics had two bronchoscopies and now they have decided to take me off antibiotics and just take with just do airway clearance.
Besides intermittent exhaustion, my only symptoms are a huge amount of sputum in the a.m. Dizziness and instability
Sorry for this long post, but it’s very complicated
I’ve also tried to Find out if there are specialists and or other Local patients in my area]
Andy advice or thoughts would be welcome
Thank you, Jill
