I am also sorry to see you go as well! In epilepsy, the journey can change suddenly and be quite harsh on us. I understand you well. This happened to me last year after a status epilepticus. What I did was stay quiet in our group for some time, instead of unsubscribing. It actually helped knowing the support was still there if I needed it.
There's also a way to turn off all email notifications so you won't receive notifications about group activities anymore. That way, you can take a break without losing your connection to everyone. Here are the steps to do it, if you want to try it:
- Go to your profile and settings (top right corner).
- Click on settings and preferences.
- Look for "Notifications and Preferences" in the middle of that page and find the option to "Disable All Email Notifications" (it is the last option).
No pressure at all, though - just thought I'd mention it in case it helps.
