Surgery - robotic sigmoid colon resection - diverticulitis

I had the colon resection and I wish there had been another way. I now have scar tissue which causes bowel blockages. An ng tube is no fun. Talk to your Dr if there is any other way don't have the surgery. I pray you never have to go thru what I have. Betty

I'm so sorry Betty! I'm trying to hold out as long as possible, I think the radiation therapy I had on my stomach as aggravated my other problems. Hopefully it killed the tumor though. It's so hard to feel sick and tired every single day 😞
