Share your test results (if you'd like)

I thought it might be helpful to have a thread dedicated to sharing routine test results, good or not-so-good. My intention is just to provide a place for sharing, support, and encouragement, not for debating tests and treatments

I'll start. I've been at stage 4b oligometastatic for over 2½ years, and last Friday I did my routine 12-week bloodwork. My PSA remains below 0.01 (undetectable), Orgovyx and Erleada are holding my testosterone at 0.2, and the other tests are in normal ranges, except for those related to iron, which are slightly low.

Overall, it was a banner day! 🎊 I always treat myself to a masala chai at the little Indian café across the street while I'm waiting for my results to pop.

Do you have any recent test results you'd like to share?

Great results !!! : ))) Yeayyyy !!! May your scans stay clean forever : ))) !
Thanks North for posting your results and sharing the story of your journey with PC - maybe my husband is not stage 4 but my anxiety is just the same. Stories of you and other PC veterans here are the ones that keep me grounded and hopeful < 3. THANKS !!!

The second part of my CT scan with contrast just popped. Neither that nor the bone scan showed any cancer activity. They both lit up a bit around where I had my lesion at T3, but the assumption is that it's irritation from the surgery, hardware, and cement, not a recurrence. We'll probably monitor it a bit more closely in the future just to be safe.

So, good news as I approach my 4-year cancer-versary. It's been a long journey from (as I took it) "prepare to die in a few years" when I was first diagnosed in 2021 to "deep remission indefinitely" in 2025. I just want to mention that to anyone else here getting a de-novo stage-4 prostate cancer diagnosis, because it's easy to go to a dark place quickly when you first find out you have "incurable" cancer.

Congratulations on the good results.

I did my bloodwork this morning. PSA is still undetectable (< 0.01), T is still suppressed (I need that with stage 4), and none of my organs is showing any stress from almost 4 years on ADT+Apalutamide. So it's a good day.

I also had my traditional post-test masala chai across the street from the hospital lab while I was waiting for the results to pop online (it takes an hour or two). I find rituals help a lot when you're living with this stuff long term.

My latest PSA level was at its lowest level (have had 7 tests since my prebiopsy PSA taken 2 years ago)…. it’s dropped 26% in two years.

That is fantastic ! Keep up a great work !
Do I remember well - you are on AS ? If yes, I would advise you to have regular biopsies (every 2 years ) regardless of MRI and PSA . My husband's PSA went up and down and lesion on MRI even shrunk in size but his cancer still continued to change and cells became more aggressive over time. We wish he had more regular biopsies, but we did not know what was the correct protocol and trusted that our urologist knows the best.

My PSA results this year so far:
Jan 8.1
Jan 7.8
March 5.4
June 4.4
% free PSA 15%
March MRI: PIRADS 3

I’ll do another PSA and MRI in September. Some symptoms consistent with Bph. Not sure if I should pursue treatment.

I have oligometastatic cancer, had radical prostatectomy in 2016, general radiation for 2.0 PSA in 2019, radiation for single lesion on my sacrum in 2022 when I started Lupron/Abiraterone/
Prednisone. I was on ADT for three years and now off for nine months. My PSA has been < .1 since 2022 and my Testosterone is now 67 and rising. It was in the 400’s before ADT. I am healthy, exercise daily, eat healthy, don’t smoke or drink. Don’t have any co-morbidities. I had IPP and AUS surgeries earlier this year and am very happy with both. My wife is also happy with the results.

Great results, and they give me hope for my own oligometastatic PCa, that I might not have to be on ADT for the rest of my life.
