Hi there, if you have vaginal atrophy( I have it too) it does not go away as we age, in fact without treatment it will worsen. The estrogen cream keeps it at bay. If you stop you may feel ok for a bit but I assure you the burning, dryness, itching, soreness will come back. There are some newer alternatives to the estrogen, one is Intrarosa…works differently and not a hormone. I may try it eventually. Best of luck, it’s not easy to deal with it. Not fair is it!
