My friend had a labrum tear like you describe about 10 years ago - she always had some level of pain, but now she said it "has faded into the background" as she gets older (past 80) with other issues.

I’m glad her pain faded still 10 years is a long time anyway thank you so much for reaching out to me . I will be in touch with my doctor from Mayo in a couple weeks to discuss further options if any .
