81 y/o F, took 2nd fosamax pill. Horrendous 12 days of high level of pain in every bone and muscle, disabling from basic tasks like dressing. Then, a ten-day course of Prednisone turned pain around remarkably in first 12 hours. Adverse reaction was just as described at nih website. Interested in learning more. Only Rx I take is for low thyroid. I have raynaud's and thalessemia. Things to avoid in the future?
