exactly that! Most people have very favorable results from RARP but some don't ,so it plants the seed of negativity in my my head.

Perfect example. I had surgery in March 2020. I was cancer free for 3 years but then PSA started to show up. Finally, got to .20 which is MSKCC's tipping point for follow up. So starting in late March I began a six month regimen of ADT and then 5 weeks of radiation which I just completed. One very credible study showed that the 5 year outcome of non-recurrence was about 87%. Pretty good odds, right? But where does my mind go? " Well that means 13 % DID have a recurrence". So I will be sweating my quarterly Prostate Specific Anxiety tests for 5 years.

Thanks for sharing. Yep, even through we think the cancer got all removed, we know that cells can be lurking and can come back. Lifelong surveillance!

Here's to hoping your recent ADT and and radiation knocked it out.
