Hi, I had a TIA stroke almost 3 weeks ago…i experienced flashing lights on my left side and arm numbedness on my right side. Ended up in the hospital, had a CT and 2 MRIs done and diagnosed as such. Released after 2 day stay. Prescribed aspirin and a statin(refuse to take because of side effects). My diet and exercise was always on tap. I work out everyday, i eat healthy (Blue Zone way of eating)…but i had the stroke. My question, what are you doing to cause the blocked artery to open so blood can flow thru?

Lisinopril, baby aspirin, metoprolol tartrate, and Atorvastatin to help prevent another stroke.

When I had a stroke, I had almost no symptoms
Like you , very healthy, don’t smoke, not over weight
My dr did bloodwork and learned I had Polycythemia
Vera ( had never heard of it)
which is a blood cancer that causes clotting. It develops over the course of a lifetime
I am on a blood thinner and
Hydroxyurea to prevent
any more clots/stroke
My mri at the hospital showed that I had been having TIA’s for some time
I got lucky I was diagnosed
