@enelram12: You Dad’s cancer diagnosis maybe could be Carcinoid/Neuroendocrine Tumor Cancer like I have. Mine was found by exploratory endoscopic procedure similarly at my duodenum & small intestine junction and found to have metastasized to my liver. With my diagnosis of Carcinoud/Neuroendocrine Tumor Cancer, I was put on Lanreotide monthly injections that controlled my digestive symptoms in 11/2021 and last June 2024 I had a Lutathera series treatment that shrank up my tumors - smaller than they were in 2021! This has given me more time!
I tell you this tale to encourage you to explore a second opinion for your Dad by Neuroendocrine Oncologist Specialist to verify the original diagnosis. There are 24 Hour Urine test and blood tests to help docs diagnose.
This verified diagnosis could offer treatments to help your Dad live with this NET cancer as a chronic disease! I hope this helps you decide on your Dad’s treatment. Medical research in this field continues to offer treatments that give hope to many of us cancer patients.

Thanks again. They have had to stop his immunotherapy after 5 months. It just keeps spreading
