Can anyone share their experience with Pluvicto?
My 85 year old dad has prostate cancer that has metastasized to his bones. Zytiga is no longer effective. He is considering Pluvicto. I would appreciate input from those who have used Pluvicto.

End of day 2 of session 1. Yesterday was the special scan. No results, yet.
Yesterday, so cold.....long sleeved shirt, light jacket, my big, thick comforter pulled up, my wool jacket over the top, heating pad.
Today, not cold. Go figure.
Bit of hip pain, lots of thigh pain, they say that's normal.
Nap time.
Semi-worked for me, just not in the way I hoped it would. I am a four Plavicto shot survivor. 4.6 Years since my advanced prostate cancer diagnosis. For 2.5 Years I was resistant, my PSA remained under control around 2 which means the ADT treatment was working. for the next 1.5 years my PSA started to rise, it was a slow rise. I started Pluvicto, 1 shot every 5 weeks, my PSA kept rising, and doubled, But, Pet-Scan indicated my tumors decreased in size and number. My oncologist liked that, but pulled me off Pluvicto to focus on treating my PSA. I start Darolutamide in a few view days.
Day 4 ends now. 95 hours since infusion. Yesterday evening.....not bad at all. Can we hope?
Slept very well. 2 Aleve early, one Oxycodone before bed. Got up this morning........no pain.
We decided to keep Oxy on board all day, so one when I got up, I'll do one around 2 or 3 PM, last one before bed.
Tired and feel weak, addressed with 100mg Provigil this morning.
The clinic likes the scan results. Baseline. Next 2 scans will tell them.
How many milligrams of oxy do you need to take?
Have to go look. Smaller than the Saccharin tablets we used to steal from Grandpa!
This is copied from my on-line med list:
"Take 0.5 tablets (2.5 mg) by mouth every 6 hours as needed for severe pain."
Try to cut one, you end up with powder, so I take a whole one.
Never done three in a day before.
Probably get away with two if I wash them down with Bourbon!
(I can say that because I HATE Bourbon!) Gets the Dr's attention anyway.
So you’re taking 5 mg, I think it’s a smallest they make, The selection goes to 100 (or more?). That might relieve someone of consciousness.
I have a few of those 5’s leftover from having my knee replaced. They come in handy when you strain a muscle in the back in the gym and can’t move without pain. I find I have to be really careful in the gym, At 77 I can’t even increase the weights I am using by 10 pounds after three or four months without pulling something. The 5’s were worthless when I had my knee replaced.
Thought the criteria was PSMA PET scan plus at let 4 ADT;s I did Scan plus Enzalutamide, 2 chemo's, Radium 223 and Abiraterone all of which failed PSA jumped 200 to 424 On referral to PMHC for LU 177else 6 months to live and on palliative care in Dec if I do not get this infusions I qualify for by all criteria Mind is very anxious 80 and feel great @northoftheborder
I am starting Pluvicto soon. I chuckled about the Nuke subs. That was my experience, too, about 50 years ago. All the best!
What boat? Seahorse, 669.
Our local USSVI Chapter......draw a line between those who spent time near a hot rock and those on Diesels.....we are amazed at the differences in cancer occurrences. This past weekend, one of our DBF boys had his 100th. Two years ago I lost a good friend to PC....nuke on Nevada. 54.
I was a nose coner ET, Mk3/Mod6 SINS.
Day 8? Can't even think anymore.
The pain has stabilized out to almost "undetectable".
However, last 2-3 days the fatigue has been EXTREME!.
Sleep almost all day, and all night.
When I do arise, VERY dizzy and wobbly.
Can't make it round trip to mailbox.
Used an old trick told me by my GP almost 40 years ago, gargle and swish with Hydrogen Peroxide. Two days, twice a day, took most of the coating off my tongue, and I have a lot of my taste back.
Gonna try going out today. No Oxycodone (test to see if that is in issue with fatigue) but 100mg Provigil, which did (surprisingly) NOTHING Sunday morning.
