My spiculated 8 mm nodule suddenly developed a partner of 7 mm spiculated nodule. That last nodules showed up in two months. Pet scan again in beginning of August and like the rest it's the waiting... I can't have surgery to remove any part of lungs due to COPD. The idea of biopsy again is in a tricky spot and too risky. Same thing happened 2022 and we opted for radiation the nodules did disappear. Had 2 needle biopsies and never got an answer on either. So here I go again. No confirmation of cancer but spiculated is spiculated and I just want them gone again so we know the plan will be radiation. I just wish these nodules would be in a safer spot to test.

@geimerc, Sorry to hear about the new nodule. Sometimes those nodules like to produce other friends. And without conformation of the exact makeup and pathology, it has to be hard to know what's the best course of action. I'm sure it feels deflating to have face treatment again. It speaks to the fine line that we all walk, we all know it can happen, but we try to live our lives in the interim. Wishing you the best, good luck with the PET. Did you tolerate the first treatment of radiation well?
