Hi
Well in stopping Bisoprolol a BB my pro-BNP went down from 189 to 1.3 on half and 79 on stopping it.
Some meds like BBs can push up the stress lovel of your heart.
Check it out, I say first to see of meds are causing the anxiety.

I am unable to take beta blockers due to the fact the when they tried metoprolol my BP went really low, and it made my PVCs increase.

I know don't all have a major medical institution they can go to like me (Mayo Jacksonville).

You will see (and before I read your post) suggestion of did she have access to a psychiatric medication specialist to look over your medication to see if any are contributing to her anxiety and feelings.

People change and sometimes medications that worke or no problems now are a problem. Also taking a lot of medications really needs to be closely looked at by specialist.

When I needed a anxiety/depression medication my psychiatric medication specialist was concerned with what she wanted to prescribe as it was known to affect Q-waves in my heart so she coordinated with my electrophysioligist and heart failure doctor before recommending it to me. So you really need to look at any medications you are taking side affects as causing the issues you are having. Then if any medications are affecting other medications.

If you don't have a medication specialist like I have most of the time a pharmicist will go over all with you and give you information on side affects and contradictions of medications you are on. I know CVS offers this to customers and also at Mayo they offer this.
