My cardiac team has followed me for last 2 1/2 years. I am 100% asymptomatic and this only began as I had heart palpitations 2 1/2 years ago. I am however diagnosed with worsening aortic stenosis and the advise TAVR sooner than later. So being active… and even being a substitute teacher…how soon after TAVR can someone renew normal activities?… thanks

Very soon, but it depends on the individual. You and your surgeon should liaise closely and be 'together' on when you feel well enough to start putting some oomph into your daily exercise or strenuous work. For you, it may be inside of a week, but it may be closer to two weeks.
